I enjoyed this short poem. Even though he left, the expression of the woman's face makes me think he will return. I feel this because of your last line,"...he left so abruptly.

I like this, I would think that the poem was written about the picture. Because she looks like she is a little unsure of herself, as if he's just walked out.

To be suddenly alone is hard. But if we think about what we had before the time of being left, we can relax. We can be confident when we know our being does not depend on the love of another person. Attractive we can be, but sometimes other will leave us alone.
