Hi Linda, welcome back...thanks for your comments...and we can now that we are going to Heaven too! YBIC, Dennis

1 John 5:11 And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

Hello. A well written essay on the mechanics of your thought around your faiths take on salvation.
I figure your point is...one must work on their faith and not sit idle...true for most follows of any path, I would think.
Clearly written.

Thank you for your comments. The Christian faith is different and is based on achieving salvation by trust in Another, the Lord Jesus Christ. That is the gift of salvation, paid for by Christ's death for sin on the cross. Christians are now to "work" now, not to earn what has been given but rather to please Him who gave it. Blessings, Dennis

hi...i see. I do not understand to some extent, but I can see that you think I did not get the right message from your work.
I interpreted it with my view on life.
I still think it was a well written article.

Thank you for an essay that should cause readers to pause and ponder. There has been much debate over the question you pose throughout all ages. There are a couple of typos in the second line of the fourth paragraph -- should be "Christians" and "loss" that distract from this otherwise fine piece. I encourage you to write more like this.

This work has reached the exceptional level

In the early days of my Christian walk I started to doubt my salvation because of some well meaning but fallacious preaching, I guess I had to go through those trials to establish what I believed! Christ dealt with all sin at Calvary, my future, past and present, and nobody can snatch me out my Father's hand John 28-30! Well done Dennis this is a welcome and much appreciated work that you have written, compelling and well composed, good literary construction, I commend you for this excellent work, blessings, Roy.
