They have a lot to sort out. Those on the boat don't really have much of a chance after the food etc runs out. But Roy and Betty would stand a good chance with what they have and what they can do. I have been wondering how I would handle the situation, I realised, not very well. :) Sandra

THE VIRUS HAS GONE VIRAL AND EVERYONE IS BEING EFFECTED BY THIS UNKNOWN SITUATION. FEAR AND DYING IS ON THE TOP OF EVERYONE'S MINDS. WILL THEY SURVIVR TO LIVE ANOTHER DAY?

There is so much message in this story. I don't even know where to begin. The author has created Roy and Betty as a sincere strong couple with a vision to live, to place above the events to chose life. Bob, portrays in this chapter someone with no vision, as he tells his family there isn't much to do until we can see. Limiting his and others around him the acceptance of death. It is sad as many individuals have the vision of Bob NOW and many live in abundance with others live in poverty and still have a vision to live. I've been reading thus far and have not been able to bless this message with appropriate stars.

This is such a fascinating idea. It puts me in mind of Earth Abides by George Stewart where watching a comet storm caused blindness in many of the population leaving only a few people with sight. How difficult life would become, and how much our life styles would change. I am loving the strong men you describe, where are the strong women.
