You're not telling a story. This is a dry narrative. Still love the idea, but maybe try one couple per chapter?
Let's hear the actual whining of the passengers.

Brilliantly started, and I could easily see how this would and could happen and how people would react. Pretty scary to suddenly lose you eyesight. Worse, everyone around you has. Another great read. xsx sandra

When disaster strikes, people become one family. That is the theme...John

....what I love about this chapter is how the individuals that are already blind noticed about the chaos because it was silence. This would be scary as I noticed in the prologue with the Helen Keller quote about the next worst thing about being blind is having sight and no vision...Great creativity.

Excellent continuation of this fascinating plot element. What a challenge to give to your characters. Already, people are approaching it differently, some actually trying to DO something about it.... but what can be done? How can anyone even study the disease without sight?

Cogitator, honestly, there are some aspects of this sci-fi write that are not too far from what could happen depending on who you talk to. There are a lot of survivalists who are out there, but not completely. I think the story line is interesting. I enjoyed it. Well done. :0 GracieAnn
