Patricia, I have often enjoyed reading about your journey through life and how it has strengthened your faith and shaped your future. I especially enjoyed the part of this passage about the rose. It's a simple poem, but so gull of earned wisdom, and truly a blessing to read. Thank you!

A very well-written prologue to your book. We all have troubles in our lives. Some will only feel sorry for themselves and complain all the time. I admire those who rise above their troubles and become a blessing for other.

This is a beautifully written spiritual piece. A small memoir of your life and how the Lord has helped you through it all. How he's given you trials to help you learn and grow. Be who you're meant to be. Your poem is very well-written. It emphasizes what you said above. Your pastor's kind words are a great testament to what a wonderful person you truly are.

How wonderful that your pastor wrote such a laudatory letter as the forward to your autobiography. I admired your "wrapped box" and "thorns" metaphors plus the rhymes and "puzzle" simile in your poems. Enjoy your latest adventure- Joan

Wonderful thoughts and poems to begin the prologue to your autobiographical book, Patricia. And it's wonderful that your pastor also wrote the foreword.
Spelling Error:
"FORWARD:" (Foreword) Forward is a direction.

I liked to see the author who has dared put the prologue of her book up first, I have not seen this before (although I admit my experience is limited). It is particularly relevant to me, as I don't start to write until I have the whole book mapped out in my mind, so I also usually start with the prologue or preface, to keep me advancing in the right direction.
I particularly liked:
I knew I was a bright person and learned quickly, yet so many times I have felt like a miserable failure. Now God is giving me insight into the meaning of my life.
I am looking forwards to reading the book as it comes along.
