Very nice.
This had such real nostalgia in its presentation. The wording and structure painted a wonderful picture of heritage and family tradition.

What a lovely memory and a treasured heirloom. I enjoyed your free verse very much. Your descriptions are vivid and I could feel the velvet dress on my cheek and the cold, running to the car as your mom did on her wedding day. If this is a true story, I am indeed moved at the tradition your family has kept. How wonderful and heartfelt for each of the brides. How very special and unforgettable to wear the velvet burgandy bride's dress.
