The picture you chose illustrates your poem beautifully. You have accurate syllable count. The poem speaks. I'm not sure that the falls always occur at the river's end though.

Revised rating after corrections were made. I am happy that the error was caught prior to the start of voting.
The imagery in this is lovely. I have to mark you down as the first line has six syllables - if you strike the "a" you will have short - long - short format which is what the style dictates. Right now lines 1 and 2 are equal. I wish you all the best I the voting and thank you so much for sharing this with me.
