I loved growing up and watching all of his movies and stand up comedy. How can a comedian have a tragic ending such as this? We've seen the same with Chris Farley when he od'd on drugs. Sometimes all the jokes in the world can't mask the depression that an individual has. Great poem.

So, does this mean that you'll be rearranging the parts of story I have already read? I still haven't looked over much, but that's life getting in the way.

This is a wonderful tribute to Robin Williams. I feel doubtful that anyone can fill his shoes because he was one of a kind. It broke my heart to learn how much pain he was in .... I wish the doctors would learn more about treating the brain. Nicely written. Hugs, Lou

Hi Sankey - A fine tribute to Robin Williams who sadly took his own life a couple of days ago. Mostly humour was his forte but I have seen him in some real dramatic films. One with Al Pacino I thought was excellent. Sad thing to happen. Well, he is now at peace. Good read. Kind regards Dorothy

Your tribute of Robin Williams is very nice, he is a man most people loved. You knew you were going to laugh when you saw him. Just to think behind that smile was pain.
Do they think we expect too much from them?
It is too bad he couldn't have kicked what was bothering him
or pushed it aside. Maybe through his acting he was trying to tell us something.
When I think of him, I just get quiet- he was one of my favorites.
That is a good question, who is going to full his shoes.

Hi friend thanks for a great review. I was ot setting out for accolades with this just wanted ro=to remember him but I got inundated with rewards instead! If we could have known I know several of us here on FS could have helped me but we are mere mortals sadly. Thanks again.

Very good....he sure did entertain millions. I tried to read more of your story and it has been removed from public view.

He was very versatile, he could play both comedy and serious roles, mark of a good actor. He will be sorely missed. Well written tribute, with good use of rhyme. Enjoyable read. Faye

Thanks friend. Not sure if we have met before. Yes I have always believed as I am sure movie makers and theatre goers alike do, that an actor's versatility in all kinds of roles is a sure recipe for some good offers. You can tell the ones who get stereotyped into the same ol same old roles all the time.

What sad news about this incredibly talented man. I really like your poem in ode to Robin Williams. It rhymes and flows quite well and hits the mark to honor him.
