Indeed you're very right in your sayings.
Life is a teacher; probably the best teacher or as they say experience. But life puts you through that experience and makes it possible.
A fine one from you!

On the surface this poem seems very basic, but it is deeper than that. To me the poem depicts the twists and turns in life's journey and that we must be wary and heed God's Signs in that voyage. Well done, Tom.

That road sign was not on my DMV exam, however, I know what it means. Great poem. Nice wisdom kindly bestowed. Good flow of rhythm and rhymes. Great work.

Life has many twists and turns
And any survivor learns to read the important signs of life.
Yet I see many young ones who have no fear in life and don't care about reading signs.
Great write. Love the picture too.

A lovely bed of flowers--this small garden makes it easy to notice the sign;
Reading signs along the way, imperative both on roads and through life's journey.
We all desire safe, easy options along both paths.

Thank you Margaret. Its interesting that one of my other reviewers said they were definitely glad for the sign. Otherwise in England or Austrailia, they go the other side.

Thank you again for being inspired by the scene and sharing the photograph plus introducing the 7X7 form. I admired your addition of rhymed couples plus! Cheers- Joan

A worthy and wise expression as many people are too much in a hurry and forget that others are using the highway and have just as important places to go to as they do.

I enjoyed reading this poem, Tom, and it brought a smile to my lips for here in Australia we would have gone round this particular obstacle anti-clockwise and met our doom without the guiding signpost! Perhaps this is an apt metaphor for the misunderstandings between nations that sometimes lead to head-on clashes!
