I remember reviewing this but I think you did some reorganizing. I agree with you that the American diet has in the past be extremely high fat beginning when home had refrigeration and could keep meat and eat all they wanted.
There are quite a few who have to have them out, however we cut out fat a lot in the 80's and replaced the fat with sugar and that mad us all fat. You can't win.
This is very well written and I saw no errors.

There is a lot of tampering with our foods. Studies are suggesting that the hormones that are injected into the animals we eat to fatten them up and it carries on in those who consumes the meat. Some countries will not allow American meat into their boundaries because these are not allowed there.

thanks my Dad would not have known about the problem he left us when I was 8 and we never had a father son relationship as when he came back to Mum I was in my 30's. Mum told me what happened when I was born about them not releasing the fluid. I think she got a bit of a shock that it all stayed for 30 something years. She was a bit embarrassed when the Psychiatrist who I was seeing wanted to speak to her about my history. maybe I need to add this thanks for the reminder.

Life does seem to have many challenges. My brother, mother and niece all have sleep apnea. My brother and niece are diabetic, both on insulin. Actually my brother is in heaven. He didn't take his diabetes seriously and ended up on dialysis and died after a couple of years. Diabetes needs to be taken very seriously. Good piece. God loves you and so do I.

Life does seem to have many challenges. My brother, mother and niece all have sleep apnea. My brother and niece are diabetic, both on insulin. Actually my brother is in heaven. He didn't take his diabetes seriously and ended up on dialysis and died after a couple of years. Diabetes needs to be taken very seriously. Good piece. God loves you and so do I.

Thanks Sis I been lucky as I think I said I was Hypoglycaemic for years and these daysa the Diabetes is not too bad.

All of this is interesting and in your great story-telling style. I believe you should try to separate your various medical issues. Place the opening paragraph about the eye specialist along with the rest of your reflections about it. You move along fine with your discussion of your hydrocephalus condition. I loved your comment to your co-workers about having a brain transplant. Great title for this section. You certainly experienced one thing after another. judi This reading, I noticed you slipped from past tense to present tense. It's just in the paragraph that starts "Then while the surgeon is operating." You certainly had all kinds of medical problems. I rarely had to visit a doctor until I reached retirement age. judi

Yeah well Doc is not happy with me atm due to the vertigo I can't do the walks anymore having to find other ways to get rid of the bad cholesterol but we are working on it. Thanks Bro for coming by.

That chapter perfectly describes how costly and long medical treatments, instead of saving a person's life, can disable that person forever.
What is mostly sad is that it happens mostly in the most recognized hospitals and clinics of the world within the hands of the best specialists!

Yeah well fortunately most of it was covered under Medical Insurance, except for the eye operations. Actually I had retired on Disability by the time I had the eye ops and my outlay for the ops ended up less than I would have paid for a years medical insurance. The hospital I believe was at fault for my getting the Staph infection when I had the shunts inserted removed and re-inserted. And it cost me more days off work for the extra treatment but fortunately I had sick leave for that period. Thanks for coming by.

I was surprised to hear the term Medicare used. Is that just a coincidence? I suppose that would be a term easy to come up with, but that is what we call it here as well. Thanks mate did a sort of all the Medical and Pet Chapters I was advised better to spread the medical through the bo9ok so you will see changes all over if you have the time again to go back through. I probably should make some comments about some people I know that could have lived longer or lived better lives had they been treated for Sleep Apnea. A mate of mine is one of the critical ones who says that every second person he knows is dx'd with Sleep Apnea. Medicare is our "Free Medical service" funded by 1.5% levy on our taxes for people whom are working. It only pays a set amount to doctors and those who work probably have to pay a supplement. It is nothing like Obama care the employers don't fund it the taxpayer does to an extent.
Regarding Sleep Apnea I was oine of Professor Sullivans first patients in the country to be tested. Thanks for the ideas.

Oh, I see. Medicare here is associated with Social Security, our retirement plan that workers pay into all their lives and then reitire at age 65 with a lifetime income. Medicare pays for most medical needs. It does cover disability as well. A good idea to spread it throughout the book and have it in context with the events and time frame that it is occurring with. Good stuff. I'll stroll through the other chapters and take a look. It is looking like a book!

Thanks mate. When the first "DEMOCRFAP" kind of Government got in in 1972 they brought in Medibank Free health care to all that were approved as eligible. I think that was on the 1.5% levy then too. Then when the LIberal Government hehe here that is Conservative got in they privatised Medibank to become medibak Private but later brought in their version of free healthcare under Medicare for the 1.5% Levy on our taxes.

Wow! This story has struck ne. You have had your share of problems. It sounds like my brother. He had a stroke, then ge had cancer and caught MRSA in the hospital. Just like your case, the hospital didn't accept responsibility for that either. This is an excellent post. Well done.
