Looks like you put together a winning recipe with what you've cooked up. I like the poem, I is an easy read. The words rhymed very well.

Dean...the creativity here is beyond imagination ... but of course....not for you!! The technical composition here is ten stars on it's own and I'm only hoping, the hell is simply a story as I cannot imagine anyone dealing with that level of discord! Great work! Vance

    Much obliged, my good friend.

I have come to the conclusion that you are a truly sick, twisted individual, I like that in a person. I can relate. I wonder about myself as well because I liked this ramble into your personal bout of madness. The rhymes are well done and make the stanzas flow together.

I am, Ward, very sick and twisted. Or, perhaps sick of being twisted. Or...oh, never mind.

In ant event, I thank you for you kind review and most generous rating.

"..but hardly my Friend"? I thought we were Friends. Did I offend you in some way?
reply by the author on 01-Jul-2014
Sure we are, Jerry. I only meant that I could never create something as well as you do poetically when you sit down and set your mind to it. That's all. Shucks, just look at my recent string of contest losses lately.

That's all that I meant, in direct response to you saying I can write better stuff just messing around.

Talk at 'cha later, my friend.

    God bless!

You are a master of the macabre. The pictures are intensely disturbing and yet draw the reader in for closer looks. The rhythm of the poem pulses in time with the craziness of the subjects mind. Another great work to pop out of your head. Take care...Stephanie

I'm not sure I understand it but find it terrifying anyway. The graphics make it even more enjoyably evil. Your mind must be a scary place to visit.

Hi Dean, I'm not sure where it comes from either lol. Oh God the images you come up with are creepy!! did you have sisters you liked to scare? No seriously your dark poems are great. Your -ing words add to the fright I feel as I go down the page. It feels like hell, I can tell you that!
Excellent poem in your unique style.

all the best,
Rodger

Have you been reading Poe again before you go to sleep? Very hands-on approach to unleashing the darks side of ones mind.

Nope, but I puposely set out to write a quick poem using Poe's classic, The Raven, as a guide for the cadence. It took all of about five minutes to write. It's easy to write what you feel.

Thanks for your kind review, LM.
