I like this soon-to-be-forty Speaker's attitude of "taking on all life sends" and "living life impulsively." From one who's been there, that's the way to go.
I really like the choice of rhymes in this poem, especially in stanza 2.
A wonderful tongue-in-cheek poem that was fun to share.

If life starts at fourty I'm still waiting and being fify-seven I just about gave up. Party hardy time was in my early twenties I've slowed since. Go for the gusto if you must remember though old cars do rust!
