Thanks my friend for this preamble to your book. It is really helpful especially in your circumstance to have these notes. I look forward to reading it, and I'm sure I will enjoy it.

Oh, glad I came back to start the ride on a journey I know will not be dull coming from what I read from you in the past....And too, a great way to start a story is with this Introduction, Sankey. Though a little ways to go until your March birthday & hope to stay here active on FB long enough to complete that journey...which is another year added to us both next month...At present don't have any plans to drop out of FB anytime soon & stay reviewing for a time again.

God Bless...Caressa_08

Hi, Caressa you mean FS hehe are we friends on FB? I did find FS originally on FB back in July 2013 I think?? Hope you enjoy the fresh journey there are changes and from all the new help I am getting it may even change again! Just when I thought I was nearly ready to self-publish! Cheers.

Yeah, you did catch something that even made me laugh & blush with my mistake.....Really been too much on FB....Time to now concentrate more on FS....a lot more constructive thinking to fill the mind & soul with some good authors to review.. As FB, that has been occupying my mindset too much the last few months (even more craziness on there than here on FS)....ha, ha, like you can see with my review of your Introduction, I need to get away some from that place.

Not wrong. Only just recently starting to get a lot more responses on Fb than I was for some time!

Hi Dr Sankey, I'm looking forward to your life story. I know I'll learn something useful even if only where to place paragraph spacing. Or commas. I have missed your encouragement of late, but also realise when writing something large, it takes all our energy and time. Sincerely Anne.

Thanks, Sis sorry I have not been over your way in a while. Working at getting all my stuff sorted as I want to try and get this book, especially self-published soon.We are putting out each chapter 1 by 1 for a final review before publishing. My first chapter is also up today as well.l

A good start and introduction to your story.
I must admit, I thought it was Big Mal himself and not Tammy that brought "Life wasn't meant to be easy" into the big time of Australian politics.
Certainly Mal governed as if he was determined to make sure it wasn't!
Good luck with the rest of your story.

Hehe obviously missed God Whitlam in 1975 or whatever huh! I reckon the new malcontent is more like a Lefty that a Conservative. But what can you expect from a former journo? What journo do you know is not of a Left persuasion? Thanks for the great review. Another Aussie corrected me on that saying it seems George Bernard Shaw owned it! Never mind. Thanks, hope you stick around.

Thanks for writing. Sounds like the start of a very good book. I sure you have a lot to say, and you will find interesting ways to express yourself.

Hi Thomas pretty sure you have been through my book or some of before. Finally getting the Intro off now and gradually going through the whole book chapter by chapter. Thanks again.

A very well-worded introduction. Language differences abound. In the U.S., people speak differently in one part of the country from what they do in another. I like the quotation you used very much. "Life wasn't meant to be easy." So true. I would suggest that you don't come right out and say parts of the book may be boring. Different readers have different responses, so let them make that determination. "Heart-warming" might be a good way to describe your story. Great title for your book. judi

Thanks, Sis sooo appreciate your comments. I love all you have said. Will see how it goes. I do like to be honest, though. And about English in America, I know you are completely right in what you say. I have been friends with folks all over USA and between the Yankees and Rebels, Rednecks and Coon Asses it varies so much. I was gonna dare and say that only one place in America where the Queen's English is spoken and probably written is Boston. Something to do with the old Tea Party I think. Lord Bless.

You're very welcome, and much success with your memoir. They don't all speak alike in Boston. Maybe you've heard English spoken correctly there, but in some of the neighborhoods it's a different story. judi

Hi, Sis, I think I might have heard that too. One of my long time friends is a retired First Grade Teacher from either rural Massachusettes or a region outside Boston. (sorry if My spelling is wrong)

They don't all speak the same in Massachusetts. (Some old Bostonians can be rather snobbish.) judi

I seem to remember Dr Emerson Winchester III on M*A*S*H claimed to be from Boston? HEHE!! Not sure where the actor came from ha.
reply by judiverse on 06-Feb-2017
I didn't watch MASH very much, so can't be sure of the actor's name. judi

I will look him up later and tell you. He was always the SNOB! Clever surgeon though he and Alan Alda always one-upping each other. Had a mad sense of humour too. Byeee. More reviews to look at.

Good luck! I can't keep up with the material I have waiting to review. judi

I'm looking forward to reading more of your story.
This is a great introduction and never sell yourself short.
Even stories that you might think aren't interesting can be made interesting with terrific writing.

Thanks, Michael. I appreciate your comment. I am going to re-release each chapter for more reviewing as this book has been in progress since probably 2012 since I joined FS, I think. I know that if it warrants it once I get it published there might be another updated edition, hehe, depending on how much longer I am on this earth. Cheers.

I cannot wait to read this story. I know it will be interesting. Us, Americans have been known to mess up the King's English from time to time. LOL

Thanks, Barbara, a couple of you out there are still very honest, hehe. You have read a lot of my story this was the completion of the project and I wanted to cover myself against that wicked Grammarly, with all its own faults, and to also let folks know I 'speaks' different to a lot of 'you'all', y'all etc etc. hehe! God Bless, and thanks.

I'll have to check this out. Unfortunately I can't do much today because I have to work in an hour. If someone's life story was interesting all the time, I'd probably think they were making stuff up. I don't know anyone who could make that claim.

Thanks, Cindy, I think folks like you are whom I am hoping to reach with the re-release of my story chapter by chapter, prior to publishing...most probably by myself. Thanks again and stay tuned.
