This is so tender and touching. I think we could all use a favor from little angels, not just today, but every day. The rhyming lines today/pray are true rhymes.

I always give a little prayer to my angels asking for 'light'...when in trouble, i ask for a bit more light. Thanks for the review, cheers J

The imagery matches the words perfectly.
As this is a contest entry it would be a good idea to check the prompt requirements which state no more than fifteen words. Your poem has seventeen.
A little tweak will correct this.
