It is one thing to read fiction, but a story like this about the lives of real people, can also make for interesting reading. Sometimes real life can also seem like fiction :)

Hi friend thanks for your comments. I am also trying to do some fiction but as another writer/reviewer said , better to get one thing finished at a time. I guess I only diverted to do the odd poem/ song some times hehe. Thanks again for a great review.

You are lucky to live in such a wonderful country. I was there in 1998 and it was one of the best holidays of ny life. The country is so big and there is so much to see and do.

Hi bro but there is a great big bit in the middle where there are hardly any occupants hehe! We wish immigrants would habitate more of the space in ur country but they all wanna live on the coast. At least we are 30 miles West of the coast hehe. I made a boo boo about the tea to9wel map as I brought some travels over from the other chapter seeing I set up thisa new post 'retarrment' one ha! Thanks again.

I don't blame people for wanting to live on the coast. It is beautiful.

I have no clue why people needs to play with the clocks. It totally frustrates me. I enjoyed reading your post and didn't see any SPAGS.

When members of my family went to see our paternal grandparent's grave, they found the cemetery had been washed away in a flood. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words.

Good for you that you made many trips in spite of disabilities and didn't let them get you down.
Here are a couple of places you might want to do something with:

no cost, whatsoever some of (no cost whatsoever,)

See the Tea towel map in the picture above.
(No map, It's a log hut.)

we missed out on a lot of the wildlife, that comes there, when the lake Floods, every 7-10 years or so
(no need for commas)

to Louise's Dad, when we got home, as well, was the rough William Creek Rd portion, in the Mitsubishi Sedan he was going to buy from us so we could purchase the Station Wagon we still have, now. (to Louise's Dad when we got home, was the)

Thanks for sharing your story,
Anita

I love travelling and I've done the trip across the bottom end of Australia a few times now - I'm New South Welshman born and bred - now living in Western Australia - Writing an Autobiography is going to keep you pretty busy and out of trouble I should think :-)

Editing suggestions - but you are under no obligation to use them - writer's prerogative :-)

My wife has always been treated badly (not abusively but well) by her family, our church and her work. It was the same in her section in Penrith ATO. - Contradictory [badly/not abusively/but well] - wasn't quite sure what you meant - might come across better if it is re-worded.

Recently we got a really good deal with our telephone and Internet provider company, which enabled me to call at no cost, whatsoever some of the tourist information centres of the areas we visited, in Western Australia to get, sometimes, kindly, on their part - FOR FREE -- some hatpins from the places we had visited. (See the Tea towel map in the picture above.) - Little bit confusing so I had a go a restructuring it below:

Recently we got a really good deal with our telephone and Internet provider company. This enabled me to call at no cost whatsoever, some of the tourist information centres of the areas we visited in Western Australia. Sometimes, kindly, on their part, we were given - FOR FREE -- some hatpins from the places we had visited (see the Tea towel map in the picture above).

We drove 130 k[l]m - don't need the 'l' when you are using the abbreviated form for kilometres - 'km'

I'm sure you have many other highlights that are commemorative and I look forward to reading them

I enjoyed your biographically generated story, I loved reading it, it was quite fascinating, I think we should all bear witness, our lives and testimonies , I enjoyed taking the those journeys with you, they were eventful, I didn't realise all the troubles you've had! Well written Geoff, I enjoyed it! Blessings, Roy.

Interesting material in this! You portion about your travels is well presented. You have just enough detail, and your story=telling style is genial and pleasant, just like you were having a chat. In your third paragraph, I wasn't sure what you meant when you said (not abusively but well) after you said your wife had always been treated badly. You might add a sentence when you transition from your jobs and retirement to your travel. Something like having time to travel after you retired, maybe. judi I envy you all the trips you took. We did some traveling when we lived in Massachusetts, but not much since then. judi
