I love the very essence of the idea you have planted here.
I can easily relate to the words of the poem and suffer a similar
fate myself.
Selective deafness is certainly alive and well at least in the young.
To be fair though, I guess we van all turn a blind eye and deaf ear when it suits us.Lol.
