This was a great poem. Another one of your very best. It makes me think of spring and be able to see the changes coming, which I am so ready for. :) Fantastic job!

And how we await such time with great anticipation. The rose will set the marker for that eagerly awaited time of year.
Good write, Debbie,
Best wishes,

Debbie, regardless that it does not have nine lines and the word countdown, it is beautifully written and we all get fat fingers sometimes on the keyboards and select the wrong thing. No worries this is well done in every way.:0 GracieAnn

As I watch the snow melt today
I know a rose is on the way
great line of anticipation, not just for the poem but for the season
drink iced tea ( with something else sometimes)
great poem about this time of year

Hi Debbie,
there seems to be a lot of joy that the snow has melted and birds are tweeting, buds are developing and promising bloom... the Spring renewal... oh it is a lovely thought... that's if you live in a cold land, which you do... it's Autumn here and we're still in the high twenties(Celsius) my favorite time... the bities slow down there need for blood, there's a cooler air making everything comfortable... this wonderful write nearly made me want to jump on a plane, just to see what all the fuss has been about... love it! But I doubt I'll offer you much hope for the naani contest, but who knows, stranger things have occurred... beautiful all the same.
With our thoughts we create,
a sense of freedom,
James xx

Thank you so very much, my dear friend. If I won the naani contest, it would be a miracle since it's not a naani. Glad it is cooling off there, it is snowing again here~Debbie xx

Debbie, I enjoyed reading your heavenly poem for many reasons. Technically The rhymes are neither forced, labored or strained while the rhythm. Lovely throughout the poem making it easier for persons To read it clearly. That affirmation or insertion of your poem written in springtime is very illuminative, creative and ingenious. The slope aggression of each foliage growing during this time was remarkably imagined through your imagery. Thank you so much for sharing and posting of you work for everyone and may you always find love were every you are.

Debbie, this is a very good write; looking forward for Spring. You sound like you are ready for Spring and/or definitely looking forward. That is where our future is and will be. Best wishes, Bob

This is a very nice poem.
Fortunately, all snow around here has melt. However, there is a possibility of a bit of it returning soon.
Personally, I am ready for Spring and warm weather - even though it means I will have a lot more work to do.
Thanks for sharing this. JW

Oh how I long to see the gardens bloom, the trees bud, baby animals coming into this world. Its been so long since we have smelled the lilacs, the warm breeze inviting us outside. Your poem was so descriptive it made me yearn more for the summer months to get here and kick these winter blues out the door. Thank you for sharing. Terrie
