Writers block, again a curse. The doldrums is a great metaphor for this as are the associated images you've created with the state of the ocean and wind's generosity compared with the state of your muse's level of activity. Your sonnet format is solid, and your verse rhymed and metered expertly.

I don't presume to judge a poets style, the words and work are from the heart and should be left alone.

what imagery. Your muse creating a vibrant wind that allows you to sail in and out of creative moments. Perhaps an unknown lesson rests in the ports where we find ourselves anchored, or maybe, the muse just needs a rest.
