solid rhyming couplets
good alliteration in Wolf won't wink
and in dramatics dear
I love your clever poetic retelling of this tale from the wolf's point of view
love the introduction of Lt. Columbo LOL
and then the Clue characters :-)
What a fantastic closing line that lets them know the jig is up :-) Brooke

Thank you for the encouraging review, Brooke. I am so pleased you found the story clever. Thanks for mentioning the closing line. I had fun with that. Lt. Columbo just sort of showed up as I was going along and I couldn't resist letting him stay.

The three little pigs meets Columbia on a Clue game board. But what about Colonel Mustard or Professor Plum? Very inventive, funny write that though a weird situation, stuck with the tone of a Whodunit. Of course, it is not the murdered pig they are eating...It is the butler.

Oh, ravenblack, I love your response. I did use Colonel Mustard and Scarlett in a previous fairy tale about Humpty Dumpty. I was considering Professor Plum for the next one. Love the fact that you included the butler in the story!

wj... Sorry I didn't read this sooner. Been busy at work and with work. Hopefully the contest is in full swing because this is a fabulous entry.
You've taken on the Three Little Pigs and gave it a fresh spin. Very creatively done... Great ending! John

LOLOL. What a howl (pun intended) Great story telling with dialogue befitting the occasion. Love the inclusion of the game Clue and the Colombo with his clever question. A shoo-in to win, I would say.

Sorry that it took so long to answer. Work has been crazy with mandatory overtime. Ugh! I'm behind on your stories so I have to drop by soon and catch up on Filly and the gang.

Thank you for the six stars and the very kind words. I am so pleased that you enjoyed this crazy little story.

A little piggy went to the market and never got past the butcher stand. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a good read.

    Hi Sonali,

Thank you so much for taking the time to point out the punctuation I missed. Sometimes I just look at a piece too long and see things that aren't there.

I am so pleased that you enjoyed the poem. I appreciate your encouraging remarks and good wishes. Thank you.

WJ, this has perfect meter and rhyme. The stoty is humorous on the one hand and sad on the other as the proverbial shoe drops and reveals the thief. Very fun and reminds me if an Aesop fable. :0 GracieAnn
