Such a deeply sorrowful lament. My sympathies for such a devastating loss. Such an unfortunate mistake .... so much pain caused. You and your family had such a short time with your beloved granddaughter. If this is an image of her she is so, so cute. At least you had some time with her and you know she rests well in Heaven.. I had tears in my eyes as I read your poem and saw the beautiful baby. It moved me because I also lost a lovely girl of my own. I had 42 years with her before she died. I hope you keep writing poems that move people because that is a gift

This was well composed, written from the heart that your little one filled. I truly understand the pain you suffered at the loss of Sophia. I to lost our first born 45 minutes after birth. To this day, she crosses my mind daily.
