Amusing. I like the alternative spellings of "deaf" and "left." I am with you on the non-accountant's milk shake. I would have said non-banker's milkshake, but same industry. Did you hear about the earthquake that hit the dairy? It made the milk shake with surprise, the cheese curdled with fright, and the cream felt completely whipped. Clever Geoffossary! Look forward to more.

This is a humour sense and sensibility using words and how people accept and effect upon the glossary of your specific use of language in day to day living; well said, well done. Liked and enjoyed the read. Write to Inspire, Change.

Geoff,
Oh my stars. What a silly, silly read. I did get a smile from some of these, though, I'll admit. You and your wife must have some time on your hands to sit and remember all of these, though!!! Thanks!

We have the saying here on the fourth of the month of May, "May the fourth be with you" instead of "may the Force be with you." Maybe you have it there too. You have a special set of glossary terms here or geoffossary.

Thanks Sis. Appreciate the lovely review. Back up for added comment and pictures to previous chapter or maybe two more back (Neighbours etc) and I also changed the pictures to the chapter before. (Let Go and Let God.)

You're welcome.

I got a real kick out of this one. I once had the coolest book about the origin of well known Australian expressions. I lost it when we moved here and have never been able to find another copy. Nice work with this one, gave me several good laughs.

I am sorry this is coming to an end. I did enjoy reading and you have a lot to say and wisdom to spread about your life. Great job and good luck getting it published.

thank you for sharing this insightful thoughts and definitions. I love the way you indicate what the words may be in 'America' and the wisdom you convey.
Well done,

You had a funny sign. It's good that you could get a laugh out of your disability. I too am deaf ing one ear. I blew out an eardrum in a scuba diving accident.

A very well-written Glossary to your book. My late husband liked to mix up words like you did here in this piece. Mostly in Afrikaans, so it will be no use to try it on FanStory. Lol.

I particularly enjoyed this as my mother was a notorious mord wixer. She never really got hold of physiotherapy, that always came out with an emerging terrapin within, and the exasperated exclamation, "You know what I mean!"
As. South Australian, I can identify with your despair over milkshakes. I have sometimes been reduced to making them for myself.
