This prologue to the poetry anthology, Grieving Hearts, begins this collection of tribute poetry which will lead to almost eight years of syphoning off grief through this medium.

This work has reached the exceptional level

I liked the way you put this two poems together.
The first is before dead of the heart and second is what happens after usually.
It is impossible to describe these beautiful poems in one or two sentence.
It has a lot to say and has to be read man many times. Rich in vocabulary.
I need to learn from you.
Thanks for being here.

    I agree the heart can speak louder than our own voices.

Hi, Richard,
"Prologue to the Book of Grieving Hearts Poems" is excellent poetry for rhyme, rhythm and fantastic figurative language, showing your broken heart not so good for implying that your readers were a flock? of emotional? vultures.

A nicely composed flash style piece of work. It flows quite nicely and holds the readers attention all the way though the verse. Quite an attention getter. Don

I'm sorry, I just don't see where this going. Where is the horror and thriller. It reads as a free verse poem and perhaps a spiritual poem; it is a little hard to tell.

    Well with pieces coming like "Torn Abused and Used Heart", Heart Attack 2003 {My wife and sons deaths}
    Do you get it now or do you need the other 97?

    No. Not trying to offend you or your feelings, nor do I want to tell you what forum you should grieve in. But this just reads incoherent as a horror thriller. I just can't tell what the point of the poem/tale is.
