Hi Denis,
sound thought process delivers a sound result.
I believe you hit this one right on the scone... 'cause we all think this way, don't we?
But after all the rusty, clunky, junky. this poem hit it's mark, not only in rhyme, but in intent.
Work it til' it works!
Thanks for sharing your art Dennis.
With our thoughts we create...
process in motion.
Kind regards,
James.

An amusing and certainly true little poem about the art of writing.
The true gift is to be able to see (and hear) which words are big fat ballons and baboons and which are the graceful flying flock.
Nice inventive take on a writer's dilemma.

I have the same problem. Right now I have no incentive to write. I'm very busy setting up an online store to sell my books and cards I make. I'm making cards rather than write, I love making cards, crafting and being creative with my hands as much as I love writing. Is that allowed? Anyway this is well done as always. Rox

No, it's not alright! You shall write...get thee to thy keyboard! Sorry, just trying to get you a little extra incentive...surely you can do both? Thanks, Dennis

Well I am working on a story for a contest, but I'm just not sure about it so haven't posted it. It's not Super Pig that's for sure, has blood and guts and stuff. =} Was kind of fun for a change.

This one raises a chuckle and really conveys the sense of trying to muster all those words in our writer's brain as they 'tumble about'. Nice pic

my words don;t behave so well.

The life and times of a writer.
Where does inspiration come from??
and where does it go??
As long as we're trying there will be a flow!!!
Keep on keeping on..

Any writer on this site will agree with you.
Just waiting for them to take flight - at times - will make you weak in the knees and pray for resolution.
Read smoothly.

This is so very true and something all writers experience. This flows very smoothly and the rhyme is spot on too. Great work with this one.

I'm betting all writers can connect with this one. Great use of consonance with heavy, rusty, clunky and junky. These words fit the sound of that stanza. LOL
