Lovely piece... although we don't really have a tipping culture in Australia. There are sometimes tip jars on cafe counters, but that's about all. I have my own little way of doing something similar though.

Yes so many hard working people who make so little but have a desire to pay their own way. It makes me even more upset with my nephew who has done nothing but connive ways to get his trust money since my sister died. Now hes suing my brother, the trustee and sent a mountain of receipt for his "expenses" this last year and demands a check of $10000 in 10 days! Maybe he should try getting a job! Part of the money he is demanding is for an online dog training class, $3000. =} How do you learn to train a dog on line? Do they use virtual dogs? So funny! It's really his father who is pushing it. He can't stand not being in charge of that money and has done nothing but harass my brother. It's really quite funny, but very sad too. My sister was a great person but a terrible mother spoiling her son to the point of making a bit of a monster. Really sad that all he cares about is the money, my sister would be beside herself over it, but she made him this way. The really funny or not so funny, but sad thing is his father is the trustee of a much larger trust left to my nephew by a good friend of his father. Why can't his dad get money for him? We know it's just that dad wants that money which he has no right to. I told my brother to fight the good fight and if we all have to put in money for a lawyer don't let that man get his hands on Sherry's money. He left her for another women and that women and he were counting the days until my sis died. Makes me sick. But another funny thing is all the money used to protect the trust comes out of the trust for the trust lawyer so he is spending a ton of his own money. We keep hoping he spends it all and there is none left. The love of money truly is the root of all evil.

Sorry, didn't mean to go on and on. Well done.

    Family troubles require much prayer and wisdom available from God via His Word...may God grant you direction in this troublesome situation, dear sister of mine. Dennis

    Yes much prayer. Another interesting fact is my nephew is a Christian and has just help start a church. He preaches all the time on his facebook page about love and listen to the Lord. We just laugh, I'm glad we can. I do hope one day the Lord does speak to his heart and he listens. He has great potentional. It's too bad, our relationship may be damaged beyond repair one day, but nothing is impossible with God. Hey I wanted to tell you too that I posted a poem. Got inspired by a picture of amazing mounts. in China. It's only a 0.02 though. Sorry. =}

Wow, this was good. At the end I realized I had tears in my eyes. Yes, I'm sure there are many more like her throughout the country. I pray we can do our part to make a difference in someone's life.

I've heard these stories on the news -a waitress who received a five hundred dollar tip. There's others of course. An interesting way how you backed into the message to leave an extra tip.

    There's a bunch of them on youtube and if anyone can watch them without at least being occasionally moved, I pity them. Thanks, Doll. JB

A pleasant way of reminding everyone that God sees us in he same light. We are all special to Him . But more importantly He sees our needs takes care of them. But we must believe Him and trust Him

    "But we must believe Him and trust Him" Amen! Sometimes the first step in that direction is to experience in some way His love. God bless, DEnnis

    I have had quite a few experiences hence the reason I speak of having faith so convincingly. He as as real as we are and is able to do anything that we ask . The only set back is unbelief. God bless
reply by the author on 27-Jan-2014
    Experience is good of course. But some of them are misleading. Jesus told the woman at the well (John 4) that God is seeking them who will worship Him in Spirit and in truth. personally, I wouldn't give two cents for an "experience" that was not sanctioned by the Word of God. God bless, Dennis

    I agree. The Bible has the answer to every situation and those who read it and act in accordance will be blessed

After I conclude this ill take a look at that link. There have been a number of these types of posts in recent days. I wonder what stimulated this topic all of a sudden.

Nicely done... John

    Thanks John. " I wonder what stimulated this topic all of a sudden.: Maybe it's "who" and not "what"? And perhaps its been going on in this old world since the beginning? :) DEnnis

Awesome Den and a very good way to remember that everyone here is equal in the eyes of the Lord. Nice to point everyone in the direction of that story.

    Thank you! John 3:16 has been called the Gospel in a nutshell and it begins with God so loved the world..."

    Max Lacedo has said, "God loves us so much, He will not leave us as He found us, but changes us."
