I must admit a modicum of envy for those able to offer helpful suggestions. I guess my lack of imagination doesn't help much. That said, I like this just the way it is. Great story that continues to captivate me completely.

Hey I forgot to mention...the professor or the guy that played him on Gilligans died then other day. We saw it on TV last night.
This is getting more and more ridiculous but you do want it that way, right?

Did he. I always think of him the last way I saw him which was young. But that was fifty years ago almost. I imagine the movie star has a couple wrinkles then!

You know what NASA needs to get off its ads? Poets. I like your tangential social commentary, the reactions to the wormhole. The corporate sponsors that went through- what went wrong? I think our ark dwellers need to know what killed them before they embark. And thanks for the straight font. The cursive fonts are difficult to read on tablets.

Yeah. I felt like that needed an explanation too. And there is a time problem for them to be skeletons also. I will try to remember about the fonts. mikey

Oh yes the prospect of the unknown brings out the best and the worst in all of us. The righteous seekers, the doomsslayers...or is that xoomsayers...well really both the same. I like this chapter best

Mikey, your sentence about people envisioning God like their image is humorously true. A blonde-haired, blue-eyed Jesus, yea, right...try olive skin, black hair and brown eyes. Yes, the needed do fall into at least two categories maybe three. Entitlement chasers, fate bemoaners, and ones that God is teaching to trust Him. What is it with aluminum foil's shield "mentality"? What was it that "Redgreen" a Canadian do-it-yourself-er said? "If you can't be handsome, then be handy", a strong proponent of duck tape. Doomsday street people, brilliantly funny. I kept laughing all the way through. Awesome! :0 GracieAnn

This is rather an upbeat science fiction drama which makes it better in my opinion. Your characters are very sympathetic and the dialogue is good. You have given much attention to detail in your descriptions and narrative. By the way, congratulations on your rankings. You must be very happy. Faye

Your sense of humor really adds to the story and makes it move along nicely. Love the hamsters, as well as the social commentary. This is exactly what probably would happen in such an instance. Well done.

A great new discovery hits the world. It created mayhem e for a while. People and governments wanted to see if they could make money. People rushed through the wormhole without testing things. They died. Most gave up. Few were able to expand beyond their limited knowledge of how life works. Great work.

They had no discernable affect. - should be effect?
"I haven't had and erector set since I was a little girl." - an erector set?
As your last 2 posts, this keeps the attention of the reader until the end - very interesting story and exciting in anticipation of what the space explorers might find during their journey.
