Excellent

I see the "open punctuation" reference in your AN, but punctuation always improves a poem.

That said, I like this. The meter is pretty consistent, as long as you don't mind bending it heavily with substitutions (a spondee here, a dactyl there, etc.)

I had to read it a few times to get the rhythm right, but once I got it, I liked it very much.

Good stuff. :)

TEMPTATION can lead you into trouble. The thing that is tempting you can look pretty good. Most of the time, we know it is wrong. But we talk ourselves into it. Then we get in trouble. Resist temptation and save your self some trouble. Great work. Good luck with the contest.
