I am the same way about change. The change in me is awesome, but the fat old gray bearded man in the mirror has changed from a handsome young man to an old fart

Well, honey, we can be "old farts" together. I have written a series of five (so far) poems about change, don't know why, just popped into my head one day about how many ways we used the word "change". When I graduated from high school (1967), I weighed 99 pounds. After having three children, I struggled to maintain at 130 pounds. Now, at age 65, I am toting around 200 pounds. Talk about change!! I don't even try to lose it any more, just keep enjoying what I like to eat. Nice talking to ya Bear. . .Linda

The body of this poem took me by surprise, I certainly wasn't expecting the first line to be about changing a diaper. It's very creative and clever. I like the final statement about being too old to change. Good work.
