Thank you for sharing this story with us. I enjoyed reading.

The father said...
"I have a gun, and next time I see him, I will shoot him!" We told him,
"If you shoot any of our Blue Tongue Lizards, we might just shoot you!" (move the first dialogue closer to 'said' and put in a comma & space between the two dialogues.)

purchase of a piano, organ or another musical instrument. He will also prepare students, if they wish, for the lower grades of A.M.E.B. Music Examinations." (space after the period after 'instrument.'

and his Dad had been working on, but not completed. It played ok, and my Dad had wanted a piano, not necessarily in mint condition. (lower case 'd' on 'Dad' in each case because of the 'his' & 'my' respecitively)

Thanks for the great review. It seems the errors never ever cease! I will work on these.

The objective correlative of your work reminisces Geoff Moore's eclectic foray into petty animal husbandry, teaching and petty business.

The work highlights experience with felines; primary amongst which were Sox and the Blue Tongue Lizards; his career pursuits at school; with functioning as a part time music teacher in close collaboration with Bob, whom he later ditched and later became a music teacher on his own with occasional manoeuvres in musical equipment sales; with health challenges akin to the auditory system that occasionally punctuated his freelance musical career.

The work earns its texture through its effective use of anecdotes synonymous with successes and predicaments of freelance artistes.

Excellent work. Bravo.

Thanks Lloyd for the lovely review. I have a few folks picking up continuing grammatical errors but I love your kind of reviewing as this has been the umpteenth time I have been through, to use up some funny money. Cheers.

I enjoyed your walk down memory lane. That sinus operation sounds terrible! You do a good job sharing your experiences. The writing is solid. Very well done.

Thanks Michael, I need to get these new errors fixed and work on the cover for the book and set up all the pictures I have in the right order for it.

Okay, now I found you. I will read everything you post. I wasn't being self-centered I just didn't know where you were. Sorry. It is a great slice of life, and I thought of doing something similar but I'll stick with reading yours, it's more fun, no pun intended, I'm glad you and Bob have sorted your differences out. So write on my friend I'll read it. Sincerely Anne

Sorry I have taken so long to get to this. My house guest just left and I finally have some time to myself. I can relate to the heartbreak but, as you said, it turned out to be a good thing. Too bad about the money going missing, nothing worse than the heavy burden of knowing you didn't do it and wondering if they think you did. I didn't know you could play the piano and the organ. My mother was trained as a concert pianist, but motherhood took up most of her time. Nice work with this one. I am going to fan you to be sure I get notified when you post.

Very well told and the poor piano in its last stage reminds me of one I had.
A good progression of the story line and of Bob who seemed a little on the wrong track.lol
No problems noted.

Thanks Barb much appreciate your fine review. I looked at my Mobile while we were out today (Cell for you) and it showed 3 old reviews I had already replied to but the frame was empty so I have to check if they went through or not. Cheers.

Thank you for sharing your continuing story about work. I enjoyed the pictures and anecdotes about the cat, Sox. It is funny how we relate to different parts of our lives though memories of our pets.

My, you've certainly had some ups and downs. Geoff, but what really impresses me is you didn't flinch in your faith once. A lot of people will let us down in our lives, but God never would. My wife has been my closest friend. The first Christian friend I ever had is still my friend, and is pastoring the church my wife and I attend, we have been meeting for years 6:00am every Friday morning for prayer and coffee.. Well done, this is one I missed, well done, God bless Roy

A very well-written chapter in your life. A new pet is always one of the best things that can happen to us. When they left us for someone else who give them more attention then we feel sad.

Thanks very mich Sis. appreciate your wonderful review. If you get a chance to go back again you will see a lot of changes as Thad, one of the other reviewers did a really detailed job of pointing out a lot of errors now fixed.

I think Bob still liked me - because after giving up teaching for him, he agreed to me being an 'agent' for the store and even paid for business cards for me - in my "newly Registered" 'business name "Moore Music Services" with his name on the bottom for referral of prospective buyers. (Moore is my last name.) - Just a suggestion, but I don't think it's necessary to say Moore is your last name. I think the reader can put that together.

Interesting neighbors with the lizards! I have a cat that acts just like the one you had. She likes to only be pet on her head and not for more than a few minutes. She will give the warning bite too, but never bites down or she gives you a swat with her paw.
