I think I see your point. But it is fun to try.......lots of things are worth the effort even if eventually .....you die . Is eventually what you mean?

The message is wonderful - why do you waste all the effort climbing the hill when to get to the top means it is now all downhill? You have this entered as a 5-7-5, which means you must have only 5 syllables in the first line, 7 syllables in the second line, and 5 syllables in the third line. This verse is actually a 3-4-9. You have time to fix this I think before the judging begins. Also in the last line I think you meant "eventually". Thank you so much for sharing this with me and good luck in the contest.
