Part of me really likes this, and part of me really wants to replace the first "heart" with another same sounding word... or maybe another line for the first 5 altogether. I really like the 2nd and 3rd lines. What if the first was:
"palms upturned first spark".
Just a suggestion, I think you've really got something good, thank you for the read!
