I don't think I've ever tried 7/4/4 - it works really well in your poem as I read it aloud :-)

I like the mono-rhyming in each tercet

The spirit of adventure in peace and harmony with the environment and the natural surroundings.
We can muse about following the water to a divine place of peace. In an adventure through the minds and widnows of our eyes, we can imagine what this place will look like.
Good creative muse and well penned.

A reflective piece that makes me want to wander with that river.Awesome photo by the way. One suggestion .the word in in verse 2 jars a little. Would at sound better? I love the upbeat ending. Being in nature sometimes makes me sing too.

but the thoughts you express would surely be

Peace, solitutude, beauty, freedom... all these

A beautiful poem. Very good depth of emotion in your writing. I love it because it speaks to me personally. The theme was carried very nicely with good flow to the end. A good job and nicely done. I want to float down the river in the picture.

I want to go
For this I know
Flowing to another place
In languid pace
No need to race
Oh, what mirrored sights to see!
Each shore-side tree, 's' allit
Water lily
I'll follow each drifting cloud
Past fields unplowed
