Not only a song, but one that fits an A-B-C poem - so clever. I didn't expect the loud chorus! I enjoyed listening to it.
If you ever did want to put your songs online, I use Doxmedia. Keith Dixon (the owner) is very helpful. When I wrote my song about Ukraine, I just sent him the MP3. I had no ideas for a visual apart from the Ukrainian flag, and he put it on YouTube etc for me. It would be nice if some of the songs you've recorded at home could reach a wider audience. I wouldn't be able to play the instruments as you do, but thankfully I have a friend who's a musician and records in his house, so I give just a rough idea of chords and he does all the arrangements.

It's always nice to have a musician friend with recording capabilities. My drummer friend moved about an hour away so we don't get together too much but when we do, he records what we do. He's not one that wants to put in the time to add more tracks and come up with something good. We usually just get a few of us together and make noise. Lol. If I ever to manage to have the time for something a little more serious, I'll check Doxmedia out. Do you have music videos out there I could check out?

I'm on YouTube. They're not exciting music videos because I can't make those, but at least you can hear the songs if you want to. Thanks for being interested.
It's difficult when people move away and you don't get to see them so much, but I hope you can still make music together sometimes.

This piece actually took a lot longer to get finished than the sonnet. I couldn't get the site to take my music file as it was so I had to go through the process of figuring out how to make a YouTube video and then getting that onto here. A lot of work went into it so I'm glad the site recognized my efforts. I'm glad you liked the piece, MM. Thank you again.

Really a very nice work. I loved even more with the song. Deserving winner. The fortress walls express the emotions how one can't open up. My entry too is an effort to relate to such feelings.

This is an awesome poem & very much deserving of the first place win you received. I love the repeating refrain, even tho I normally do not favor much repetition. Yours makes sense & really works here. Congrats & keep on sharing the great work.

Thank you so much for the fantastic review and the big sixer, Dallas. I had fun putting it all together. Once I had it written I started playing around with a music program and went ahead and made it a song. The hard part was figuring out how to get it so people on here could actually hear it. The site options weren't working so I had to figure out how to convert files to this and that and how to get it to YouTube and then how to get it onto Fanstory. It was a lengthy process, that's for sure. I dearly appreciate the gracious stars, D. I'm humbled. I'm glad you liked the piece. Thank you again.
