Hello Anupam,
I loved the evening mood you portrayed in this piece. Isn't it wonderful, when the sun goes down, we still have our sense of smell to appreciate the events unfolding all around. Well done, Bill

This is a well written 5-7-5 poem and I love the choice of subject. You create a lovely image of rich lavender swaying in the breeze, filling the air with its perfume. The imagery you create with this one is lovely and no illustration is necessary.

You have made superb use of every syllable in this lovely, appealing 5-7-5 that shares with us the fragrance and beauty of lavender.

I enjoy this piece, I think the alliterations work well to add to the strength of the linework and the overall flow of the piece. The imagery is soft and alluring which lends nicely to the overall theme. Excellent work on this piece, thanks for sharing.

Many of these contests call for no artwork. Sometimes I think that's a good idea, because voters can be swayed by artwork. Best of luck in the contest. Your syllable count is correct, and you create a visual mood with the color lavender and the motion of swaying in the breeze. Excellent alliteration with sway silently. judi

This reader had a lovely image of the lavender swaying in the breeze, while the wind released the scent of her oil.
