No wonder this is rated exceptional.
Such beautiful thoughts swirling from
the romantic strings of your heart.
Play on and keep dancing my fiend.
You lift my spirit to fly with you

I like the idea of Autumn leaves wrapping around me and feeling love. This is a different vision of Autumn,it appeals to the emotions of the reader. Excellent use of words.

This is an absolutely beautiful poem about autumn bringing in the spirit of the season to the soul of the person. I love it.
Now wrap these leaves around your soul.
Take them with you wherever you
Go, and feel my love grow as the
Verdant grasses of passion spring.

Thank you, Jackarrie, for your wonderful review and for sharing the verse of your choice. Most reviewers liked the first verse, but your recognition of the last verse is very special to me. In the last verse, I did a little word-play with the word, "spring," in the last verse, i.e. spring as to sprout and grow vs. "spring" as in the season in the first verse ... and that is one of the reasons why your recognition of the last verse is special to me. Thank you for stopping by writing pad. Stop by again. Sincerely, LateBloomer

Hello l.raven, Linda, thank you for the wonderful review. Autumn is a beautiful time of the year. It just so sad to know that it's followed by winter. Snow, the "other" four-letter word. Bhhhhh. lol, LateBloomer

A very nice poem with a good image to support it. My only style comment is the use of capitals on every line. Poetic license says it works, but the capital on Go threw me off a bit. But it does go together and work well. Thanks for sharing, Brent.

Hello brentman99, Thank you for your wonderful review. I also appreciate your suggestion regarding the use of Uppercase/Capital letters at the beginning of each line. I went back and forth on the idea of the U/C lettering and couldn't decide, so I submitted it as printed. Also, the poem was inadvertently released before its time, i.e. with no previews, and reviews started to come in, so again, I left it as is. Interestingly, you were the only "brave" one to mention the flow, and I thank you for your thoughts and opinion. Once again, thank you. Sincerely, LateBloomer

Hi Margaret
What a colorful poem and such gaiety that made me desire to merrily dance like a gypsy.
( By the way your line about the dancing is very good)
