Crooked public workers have been around for centuries. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read. There is good imagery.

I am sorry you had a firsthand experience with potential, local public graft. Your alliterative title was very effective. I imagine you've been very careful ever since where you dump trash! Sighs- Joan

This is a great story and I think you should add it to "The Little Dog That Wouldn't Let Go." I find it amazing the things a person can get in trouble for. Odd, but everyone is told about how the Mexican police pull you over and expect a little payola to let you go. I have yet to meet anyone that has experienced that down here. It may happen elsewhere, but so far not in Mazatlan.

That's good to here Sasha. Mazatlan sounds like a lovely little area. I can't remember if you or your MUm fell in love with it first? Thanks for the great review.

Sasha I appreciate the confirmation of the right place for this story and have moved the chapters in both places and now added this as chapter 19 of my Biography "Little Dog"

This is a really well written true story you have penned my friend. It is amazing how evil the devil is and how hard he tries to harm God's people. I am glad it wasn't any worse for you my friend. Great wording and picture you used. Blessings to you and your wife! Teri

You are a good storyteller. I enjoyed you tale very much. Experiences like that can leave a very bad taste in your mouth. It must have been humiliating and enraging. We are pretty much helpless in such situations. Good job.

Your story is well written and almost funny, although not at the time.
Dumping garbage is not a good thing to do, and having letters leading back to you is not great either.
Well told.

Thanks Sharon, as I said I had no idea my Mother had those letters in there. I guess "Be sure your sin will find you out" is appropriate here, too.

This is interesting. Lesson is never leave personal Id where someone can know who you are. Yes, much corruption in government. America suffers as well. Thanks Sankey for sharing.

It's not hard to run foul of the local councils especially when they continually change terms and conditions and add charges.
I'm glad you saw the error of your ways and made recompense for them.
An interesting chapter in your life and one in whhich you learnt a valuable lesson.

Thanks for the great review. I know it was cheaper even with paying the fine than it would have been even if I had entertained trying to pay them off t shut up. It was a genuine mistake what I did and I should have just held on to the stuff till we could get rid of it properly. Thanks again.
