I can imagine what those orchids must have looked like. Your cinquain is so descriptively written, that it hardly needs the picture!

You have imaginative use of language:

"Lasting" was to symbolise that the orchid flowers last for a very long time creating a beautiful display.

The lilac orchid puts on an explosive colorful show of vibrant lilac hue. The blooms will last for as long as the weather permits and with tender care they can last for more than three months. Great beautiful plants to brighten and make us joyful seeing such beauty.

Lovely poem and excellent back and photo. Had some orchids on the table at church the other day I didn't know they came in different colours there were two colours there the ordinary one and probably similar one to these in the [photo.

Yes, there are several different colours of epidendrums and they are all beautiul when in flower and flower for a long time.

Yeah I always thought orchids were the "Rolls Royce" or Cadillac if you prefer of flowers... Or are we degrading them by associating them with expensive or classy cars?
