barb we had a LOT of trouble with our two PAID accounts on here. Because of Tom's Firewall thing to stop authors reviewing their own work it also precluded husband and wives with 2 accounts reviewing each other or indeed both reviewing anyone else's stuff. All so unfair. Just another reason I don't know why I renewed for another 2 years on here. I may re-writer her stuff giving her credit, I did edit and provide pictures on the other one but then I may not be on here when that happens.God Bless.

Hey did you see Tootsie55 account is open again trying to do reviews over there to build up some funny money. Cost me a lot in Aus$ to get the account up for an other year over there.

Thank you for sharing your travels. It sounds as thought the two of you had a great many trips together, and even got to visit some of the spots you had gone to separately. My husband and I have been together for thirty-three years and have been fortunate enough to do a lot of traveling together, but we have yet to go to Europe together - though we both have been separately. He was blessed to go back in 1978 for a school tour, and I was stationed in Germany at the same time. My daughter was stationed in Germany from 2009 through 2011, and I was fortunate enough to spend some time with her then. I will give more details of my travels in my memoirs.

Thank you for sharing your travels. It sounds as thought the two of you had a great many trips together, and even got to visit some of the spots you had gone to separately. My husband and I have been together for thirty-three years and have been fortunate enough to do a lot of traveling together, but we have yet to go to Europe together - though we both have been separately. Hi Sis, thanks for this review. My wife wrote "Our Trips" Book in here but we had a lot of trouble with 2 PAYING Accounts so hers is gone now. Tom has a firewall thing that prevents people reviewing their own work which I guess is fair but it stopped both of us reviewing each other or even both reviewing other writers stuff. Only one of us could review other people's work. Not fair. let me say I am glad to have met you as I was on the verge of leaving FS for many reasons. I may re-write my wife's travel book in here giving her full credit of course I did do a lot of editing and added pictures to her writing. But then I may not be on this site long enough to do that. If you write to me I can say more.

I have always liked your work and still give you five stars for informative writing. Your wife's book must be great and I wish you could elaborate a bit more but it's nice reading about the places you have visited and the way you are able to describe them. Keep up the good work. It is worth the effort.

For we who are from other places, more description of those places you visited and what you did there would be interesting, since we don't know what the attractions is that make people go there.
I.e. Ayres Rock? What draws tourist to it? legend? myths? historical events? Would it be recommended as a place to go see? The same would be true with other sites.
I didn't understand how a mayor could desecrate a grave. Isn't there laws about cemeteries since people purchase grave sites?

An interesting chapter about all the travel you have done together. It is wonderful that you have had the opportunity to do all this, even with its difficulties. It is an inspiration for others to get out of their comfort zone and travel a little. I know you've done a lot more than I have. This is a well -written story and good to read.

Thanks again I did not want to steal Louise's thinder as I have said before as she is writing her own account of our travels including accommodation pluses and minuses especially from a disabled persons point of view.

Hi Sankey, this is good - I like hearing about travelling stories. I visited OZ in 2005 and went from Melbourne to Cairns in just over 3 weeks - it was pretty hectic but I had an amazing time, snorkelled off the barrier reef, did a boat trip in Sydney harbour etc. Saw family and friends along the way which was great. The huge flying bats in Sydney were a highlight! Good chapter, Pete :)

Thanks, mate glad you had a good time. On the trip up North we had contemplated going all the way to Cairns (Louise had been there once I think with her family) but as I said we only went as far as Rockhampton then inland to Longreach.

Thanks for that. Yeah we cannot fly anymore as unless we are prepared to pay for top priced airline fares (we are now on reduced income) they are not prepared to assist with Louise's wheelchair on and off the aircraft. I probably should add some remarks about the various mechanisms used to get us on and off trains and aircaraft. Sadly no photos or FS won't allow enough photos hehe. I just moved a Stand alone story about our drive Across Australia and the stop for lunch in South Australia to Chapter 17.

Wow, you guys sure did a lot of travelling. I didn't think it would be legal to rip out gravesites, isn't that considered sacred land or something? I guess different countries have different laws regarding that.

Hi Sandra good top see you again I am enjoying (commiserating) with you in your wriutings as well. Thanks for the great review. When we visited Toowong Cemetery..Louise could not come up with me very hilly and not suitable terrain for wheelchair, but I saw a lot more graves that were in a mess headstones broken and fallen down etc. I guess people can't afford to maintain them or not interested. Graves weren't ripped out...probably a bit colourful with my description hehe the graves were left just broken headstones and stuff cleared.

It is good the two of you got to travel so much together before the pain shortened your trips. I love to travel but I've not gotten to do a lot lately. My husband had never cared that much for travel. I enjoying your story.

I always wanted to travel the world, but finances had always prevented me. A few years ago we discovered that there is so many places I havent yet seen in my own country, so now we have a monthly road trip to do that, and it's a lot of fun. Thank you for sharing your well written story. It makes for a good read.

Thanks very much have not seen you around for a while. My wife is going into more details on her story so I did not want to steal her "thunder' as I said in the Chapter. Sadly she is not sharing on FS. Bit of a shy one.
