This sounds like quite an experience being invited to go on a radio show as a guest of honor. After reading this and a few of your earlier chapters, I am amazed at the details you remember. I look forward to reading more.
A few things I noticed:
"Especially as I decided to go to air with then play," This wording seems awkward to me.
The entire programme was (recirded)[recorded]
"I was picked up by taxi, at around 11pm on the special night from home," Change to I was picked up from home by taxi, at around 11pm on the special night,

Hi there new friend. Thanks for the review. I thought I fixed some of this or maybe someone else caught them and I haven't got there yet. I do agree with one of the writers a while ago who said "Eedit, Eddit, Edit!" So always appreciate any help I can get. Glad to have you on board. The story line is interesting and well told. The writing, although conversational, could use some tightening.
I think you could skip terms like "and so on" which detract from your story.
I wouldn't say, "Without dragging this on too much," because it drag it out too much.

Hi friend. Another new contact on FS appreciate your review. Early days for this one. Thought I was nearly finished and my wife and I were talking other day and she said "Did you write about etc" and I realised I had not done it. Thanks again g=hope to see some of your stuff around.

Hi Thanks for the review. I have another song I wrote about my time in Tax as well along the same lines. It goes to a famous tune too. Watch out for it, have to pick a suitable place for it.
Can't remember if we have met. Been reading some Westerns on here so maybe I had read some of yours?? Sorry for the fog if I am having a Senior Moment hehe.

Planning on releasing it under my FS Name what do you think about that? A lot of people probably knew Ira D Sankey anyway. I think quite a few churches used the Sacred Songs and Solos Hymnal. Appreciate you sticking with me Sis.

Sankey? or? Ira D Sankey was a great hymn writer and accompanist and soloist for Dwight L Moody for a lot of his Crusades. Years ago a fellow and I who was my pastor for a little while, were gong to do a bunch of meetings he would preach and I would sing and play the organ or PIano. We we were Moody and Sankey. Sadly we only did it once. I left that church and some time later he committed adultery with a woman he went to late at night to help her...unless there was more to that. I wrote about him in one of the chapters not by name though.

The book of Jude talks about uprooted people that are like "wild waves of the sea, casting up their own shame like foam." Unfortunately, most people's stories are nothing more than water foam, whereas your story is a settled and foamless sea of tranquility. Your story sir is more substantial, more alive with subtle tones of tenderness, peace, love, and joy. I thoroughly enjoyed it! Thank you for becoming my fan; I am now a fan of you. God bless sir!

I felt I needed to give my readers a break from all the Employment history, and take some different roads. So I hope you enjoyed the diversion and here we are back on the work trail, again.
Nothing wrong with sharing your life. In the end, this is the only true legacy-apart from children-that you will leave behind. Best to document the whole thing and let the world know, because once it's posted it will never go away.
I wrote a poem/song about my time in the Veteran's Affairs Department. I will explain it later on.
So versatile. You are truly a writer of some considerable talent.
