Mr. Doyle sounds like my government teacher, Mr Philips. He just had us copy down definitions all the time, but he never really taught anything.
I'm sorry that you lost another pet in a bad way. I hope at some point your had better luck in getting another pet.

Your welcome! I'm glad I got more time to read this weekend. Last week I was too busy to get on here for very long.

Wait, you got out of flag football, dodge ball, baseball, etc? What!?!?!?! I'm a little jealous. And my heart just broke reading about Saggy :( Riding on a train sounds fun but maybe it's because I don't do it regularly but I bet the scenery was cool. Sleep walking on a balcony sounds scary and like you need to wire something or do something to wake up before you get there. Really when you find the right people all you need are a couple good ones. You don't need a lot of friends, even in high school. High schoolers are jerks. And the teachers that understood what you were going through and let you sleep or the ones who read the paper. They are the true teachers that make memories

Thanks very much for taking the time to go through all these for no reward. I am touched. Glad you are enjoying the travels.

Enjoy the pics with each chapter. I'm starting to get nervous now when you mention a pet. I can take the death of people much easier than I can animals. It truly upsets me to read about death of a pet.

I have been reading your story Dr Sankey and it's fun going down memory with you. No I was never in High School sixth grade was it for Orphanage girls, but the time frame is what I remember and train trips to Melb. Different time but still a great read, keep going I'm with you. Sincerely Anne.

Thanks very much Don and Vicki and I enjoyed reading your recent scary hairy offering as well. There are some rewards still left on a few preceding chapters of this further re-run after a Grammarly edit. Grammarly are not real good on Comma's or picking up correctly on spelling. Even set for British English G still counts some words as incorrect, that aren't in British English...eg programme and realize Bleah. Thanks again. A new Chapter for an Introduction was added sorry no rewards left on it.

Sankey, I can see why you have such love of music though the hearing isn't what it used to be. I have perfect pitch, too. I sing alto or contralto and can't stand to be next to someone who is off pitch. LOL. Great snippets of your life. :0 GracieAnn

I had a history teacher in high school who used to think he was being attacked by German planes and would dive under the desks at random times during the lesson. Looking back he must have had PTSD from the war.....we were all so scared of him, poor chap. I dropped history. Keep going I'm loving this!

HA! I went to the beginning to see if I missed anything. Looks like I did. So the Balloon covers the whole book. Looks like a decent deal. I remember being in school at the same time with no father. Yeah, they all had a lot to say, but with my tongue they knew better than say it to me. Hahaha. Normal always seems to be whatever it is for the individual. It is all we know. But, it does look inviting across the aisle, doesn't it? A great chapter here. This is a time everyone goes back to and remembers in surprising detail. Another area where you can add as much as you wish without losing your reader I would think. We all go back and take the journey with you. mikey

I really enjoyed this chapter. Fun to read and easy to relate to, especially considering I grew up and attended schools in the same area.

Glad you enjoyed it. Does it need more "fluffing?" Still got in mind to work on the earlier chapters. They all need more I guess.
Thanks for the great review.

This chapter about the schools you attended is quite interesting because everything was very different than American's school. One thing i found terrifying in 1st grade was bomb drills. A horrid siren would ring unexpectedly and we had to climb under our desk, fold up in the fetal position and wait until the teacher told us to come out. Even at age 6-7, I knew that desk wouldn't save me if a bomb came.
I saw no errors in this piece

Hey again I so much appreciate you taking your time to go through all these earlier chapters. It is better for folks who are reading me for the first time to start at the beginning as I have also found with many new FS members work as well. Thanks again God Bless.
