    Thank you very much Colette. I was actually thinking about a Moody Blues song when I wrote the piece.

I don't think this is weird at all! Contrarily, it's quite refreshing. I think you could play with the syllables a little bit to help it flow a little smoother, but you have a lot of very creative and unique ideas going on in there, ideas that are very interesting. Read it aloud and see if any changes might help it 'sound' more soothing and melancholy; you've painted an awesome picture with your words, now use them to set the mood for the reader. Or not, just sayin'. And I must mention that it builds steadily to a closing that's pure perfection.

Could read that you were literally inspired by the image. You do give due and proper thanks to the artist of your woman of discontent - perfect words to a perfect image , given the context of our poetic encounter.

i've always thought imagination is the talent of poets:) but have to learn this through writing can be exhausting! however i do love every aspects of poems.

I did enjoy this very much... wow... it was weird yes, and kind of surreal, but then so is the artwork. You did a wonderful job finding just the right words to represent this art. I love the last part especially "a world created by the external energies of the imagination." Food for thought. If I had a six to give, it would be yours. :) Sandra

Great poem. It fits well with the "The disembodied head"
