where's the song?
I enjoyed the read.
I spent a couple months working in a mental institution (before they were called hospitals), and did similar things.
This was an interesting post, thanks for sharing.

You did sorta' promise a song.

Some people are territorial when it comes to their jobs. This is very well written with very good explanations of the various jobs. There is very good imagery and descriptive scheme.

Thanks Bro hope things are improving for you. I miss all my favourite writers. Just discovered I had Sharing turned off on my chapter. have a look back there are still some with Rewards. Also just found out how to activate the Lucky leprechaun just about the Book banner thing. Tom does not really help with info.
-
The Leprchaun-called a Little Dude by a friend-is very helpful in rewarding your reviewers.
-
Yeah well Tom has never explained it all that well. Will use it some more now, as I have nearly run out of the banner thing.
-
It is best to earn your banners because they last longer than the ones you can purchase.
-
Right mate. It is getting harder these days as a lot of the best friends have left FS.

Another interesting piece to your job history. I like that you started a hearing impaired group for the staff in two different locations.

Thirty-three doesn't sound old, but if you're working with mostly 20-somethings, I'm sure it would seem that way. You have the ability to get along in whatever situation you find yourself. A great attribute. Starting the hearing impaired group showed initiative on your part. I was intrigued by the story of the woman who claimed you invaded her space. You might have given more details, instead of making reference to the song. Great work. judi

A very well-written chapter. There are always a variety of people in a big company that we have to work with. They are not always pleasant to work with but we have to be polite at all times.

Hi Geoff. It appears to be a credit in your cap for starting the group on the hearing impaired "Hive". Good going. The writing itself is fine...well thought out anc clear.
However, the first paragraph again, for instance, has many terms that I as an american do not understand. That's why I said you must make up your mind what your target audience is...and if it includes Americans remember we do not all understand everything here for instance. "In November 1984 I commenced in the Post Audit Area of the Out Patients' Department, at Concord Hospital, as a Clerical Assistant Grade 2.
And: "two grades above their gazetted positions."
Suggestion: Tell your age in each of these steps in your life. We have no idea how old you are when you became a clerk #2. Also, give us a feeling of the setting. The picturwes are fine but we cannot SEE what your work area looked like. What was your boss like. what did he or she look like etc.
You need more COLOR in your work
I hope this review is of some value to you, my friend. Blessings, Bob

Thanks Bob.More good ideas. Will work on it and let you know. I appreciate what you are saying about the fi=differences too. I got a bit of a serve from the Political chapter that I split off another one because of your encouragement. People like the shorter chapters as well. This one used to be bigger ages ago.
Comment from Sasha
I enjoyed this chapter. You are obviously a good worker and able to bring skills you learned at other jobs to this one. This chapter is shorter than previous ones. I think that is better and should bring you more readers. Many don't like the time it takes to read long posts, and pass over the long ones. Nice work with this one.
