One rambling sentence after the other punctuated by a stream of commas. Resembles a tirade on existentialism that knows no bounds. As to catching one's attention, the author succeeds brilliantly without apparent concern for the reader's sanity. All I can say is, rewrite the piece into small bits that the reader can grasp and not choke on.

This piece tells a mouthful, just like your previous pieces, it is getting better everytime you post a new one. I agree with you, sometimes we put so much hope in things and in our dreams, but we know it doesn't work that way, just like magic. We even wish to win a lottery, but luck comes only to chosen few, and it is influenced as you say by time, by systems, by laws, customs, conventions and most of all God, it is about the power of prayer and sheer hard work too. God bless.

I particularly love what this piece brought to the table today. We can feel and think things with our minds and hearts all we wish. Its ok to have dreams and dare to dream big. The REALITY however is that even when we plan for the future taking right and smart steps, we cannot PLAN for the future. We can none of us know what tomorrow holds from day to day. Its always interesting for me to look back and see what I had planned and how it unfolded into what became the reality and truth. Love this. Apryle

But will everything happen as you think, dear; I know nothing happens as we think, wish or expect; we never take cognizance of the environment, time, people, peoples' thoughts, systems, society, laws, customs, conventions, and above all God, often many of us forget our limited ability, power or deservedness and that change is permanent...

The best of the piece. John

Have you ever heard the saying "If you want to hear God laugh, just tell Him your plans?" That is what this makes me think about. I enjoyed reading it and thinking about when my children were little and we talked about what they wanted to be when they grew up. They were always dreamers and could have made anything happen within
God's allowance. Thank you for your creation.

I enjoyed reading this catchy little piece of yours. It has some truth and a little cocky humor as in the personality of the human character; which certainly deserves some descriptive notations such as what you've shared here. Very clever and entertaining:)

I always enjoy reading your prose, it is always so elegantly well put. I love your patient and understated tone, and while we differ on opinions, I can still enjoy your stories and the way you express yourself. Great work again as always. Namaste.
