an excellent poem depicting the darkness and uncertainty of night. There is wonderful flow here and you have built up the poem beautifully. I liked the lines "And time made irrelevant

Darkness can be a scarey time although perhaps you are speaking of an old man whose life is nearing the end and so much had changed and he prayed for sunlight again. I liked it.
