I liked how your poem highlighted the importance of words. I agree they are important but i think that "endow your personality with gems" is too strong a phrase for this instant. A person can say the sweetest words but can think the darkest thoughts. However, words do have a huge impact and your comment reflected that fact nicely. I love the positive tone at the end.

Almost like a English proverb. This was simple and well understood. The sentence that says, Wisdom varies from person to person is beyond true.....BUT true wisdom comes from the Most High God HIMself.

Words can certainly hurt in a bad way. It made me think of all the Facebook scandals. Teens are especially vulnerable to untruths. Wisdom does come into play telling us to discern the intent.

The only thing I can suggest to correct is substituting 'by' for 'in' in this part:

draw a picture and sign my name,
a poem for a special friend;
My great achievements have no end.
Record my voice or write a book
The world will surely all be shook.
A gift that only I can give;
a gift to make them want to live.
I daze in wonder at such thought
And know it is the truth I've sought
Is it all a classic blunder?
No way! My words sing with wonder.
Our friends wait for more words from us
My feeling is but hubris.
