This is fantastic. I find that most people that are partial to nature and like to stop and seek its beauty have a very spiritual side. They almost seem to go hand in hand. My grandmother is a full Cherokee and I only have some of the spirited aspects of the tribe. And a bit of a temper as well. :) But I can tell that you are a very deep thinker. So many mysteries aren't there. :) Apryle

Thank you Apryle. I find beauty and meaning everywhere I look. My Grandchildren to my daughter Aisha are part Cheyenne due to marriage.

This is very good.
You touch on so many topics of man's arrogance and indifference for our planet and truth.
The human foible at work.
Thanks for sharing

I just took a drive up the north shore of Superior a week ago.

Thank you Gene. I plan to get up there in August, definitely a sacred area of the earth.

Hi Tom,
We have a similar love of nature my friend. I enjoyed reading this one and I think you crafted this one with strong imagery, rhythm and rhyme. Loved your photo. Whole work was a wonderful read and great presentation.
Thanks for sharing it.

This is lovely. The ambling nature of the words remind me of the song-lines which Aborigines write and sing. Your imagery is poignant, I especially like 'Creation in motion' and 'The point, a sharpened knife'. Thank you for sharing. invisible.touch x

Thank you invisible.touch. I appreciate your comments and am pleased by the Aborigines remark. They are definitely people of the earth and are connected to it's vibrations.

It seems that the further we get from human habitation, the more we feel nature's presence. Maybe that's what's wrong with our world. We've lost the bigger picture, too wrapped up in our own small lives to note.

The writer does a good job of delivering a message that is clear and to the point. This piece has good rhyming. This piece flows nicely as this piece holds my attention from start to finish. The photo compliments the piece well as I see nothing in this piece that I would change.

This work has reached the exceptional level

Rambled? Are you figgin' kidding me!?? This was absolutely amazing, astounding, mesmerizing, inspiring, captivating, all-encompassing...shall I continue?

This, to me, and it's just my opinion mind you, which around FS isn't worth a pot to piss in, is your absolute best I have read by you. The formatting, the alliteration, flow, meter...everything about it soars head and shoulders above us all.

Breathtaking!

You're very welcome, Mr. T. Those stars were well deserved in my book, and I don't dole out 6-star reviews too often...

Elegant, and good.
"And we may be
Found up a tree,
If Nature recanted.

Without the tools,
We are the fools
Who just raved and ranted." definitely creative.
The Himalayas reference is awesome, the mountains.
Oh my gosh, really good.

Did you intents a 4 rating on this? The reason I asking is because this is my 25 review and it's is keeping me from getting an All Time Best award.

A very impressive reminder of all the sacred places
beckoning for notice....and shining humbly.
Not to mention a warning to our cavalier sense of
carelessness.

A truly lovely poem :-)

Just a though...S9-L3 might benefit from an added 'ere
If Nature 'ere recanted
and S20-L3 like wise (maybe with a "do")
Such delusions do run rife
....for meter.....just a thought :-)

Thanks for the structured ramble to sacred places across the expanse of earth and depth of sea. It was a delight to read and note the rhyming structure describing the places of sacred beauty.beauty
