This is beautiful! And unique--'senile moon' 'melting'--words I've never heard to describe the moon. My only suggestion would be to consider replacing 'goes on' to 'begins.' But it is fine just as it is, of course! EXCELLENT.

When the senile moon
Goes on melting in the sky
Night sings lullaby... wow, this is a brief and good poem, so introspective and beautiful word choice, the picture also enhances its beauty and meaning conveyed. According to the contest, you also did good and follow the rules, good syllable count. GOOD LUCK.

Love the picture of the melting moon against a black backdrop, it amplified your message in this 5-7-5 poem, I enjoyed the metaphor senile for the receding moon, or a personification of the moon, and the night singing the lullaby. Nice.

Hmmm.. I never thought of the moon as senile. I can imagine a nights lullaby. Nice 5-7-5, with a good rhyming of sky/lullaby. thanks for sharing. Miss Sally

In the magical night as we look at the night skies and dream, we wondered where the moon will be going to after it melts away in the skies.
It is time to say goodnight as the moon sings its final lullaby to welcome the dawn to break soon.
We just wished that the beautiful night of romance and brightness will shine in our hearts forever. Many writers painted the dark night as eerie and full of evil but this poem choose to serenades the lunar moon and that's when the love lunatics come out to dream of romance and the past glorious happy days of night. Smiles.
Cheerio, hugs, Ritchie.

this is a great nature poem with a powerful methaphor. saying the "melting in the shy" was a work of art. "night sings" is also a good methaphor. great job.

A beautiful picture that decorates you piece.
But the thought of a senile moon is interesting.
It's seen everything for millions of years and yet
age has caught up it seems. Nicely done, Ridley
