Both the red and blue are so bright. It aches my eyesight. Love the artwork. It's so patriotic.
Wonderful poem as it pays tribute to some wonderful men that helped build a great country. Nice form repeated. Excellent work.

Thank you sunnilicious. I'll see if I can tone it down.

Excellent 5A suite....beautifully written....great message....always look to your work for variety.....I would only say the blue letters on red always make the picture look bright neon when reading it...like staring at a sun to long without shades....
Beautiful poem.

Good noon, Treischel,
This 5A poem is excellent. It meets 5 syllable/line/3line requirement and then some. There is alliteration in all lines.
It expresses a noble sentiment. I enjoyed this read.

Thank you Preston. Tried to work in Enlightenment, but couldn't think of a appropriate one syllable word to go with the sentiment. I guess "earned" would have worked. Why don't you use iron one?

A well-penned history lesson as a nation reflects on yesterday's events for today's liberties.
I like the creative concept of several stanzas in the alliterative-only poem--I must attempt this!
