The rhythm was sturdy and sure - so much so that I didn't even realize that the lines were un-rhyming, until I read your author notes.
Puzzle pieces ... a great analogy for diversity and acceptance .... could also represent any given family tree - fruits, nuts and all .....!! :)

A well-written analogy of humans uniting in the same fashion as puzzle pieces, where connections create a perfect world.
Excellent!

Such it is with men and women,
Each so different , yet so unique.
Diversity fits together
In a lovely creation piece.
What a beautiful write in unrhymed quatrains. It's lots of fun to complete something that is so intricate in design.

Thank you Gungalo. Yes, I love doing puzzles. It takes patience and analysis. My children often give me one on days requiring presents, because they know I love them.

Very well done with this poem. I love your photogragh. Oh how true it is that men and women are all actually like a unique puzzle piece with a specific place to make a wonderful picture in life.

Hi, Treischel,
This excellent poem. It carries a good message and flow is good. In free verse it is my understanding that structure should be "unconventional". Do you think that the quatrain stanzas in this poem can be considered unconventional? I enjoyed this poem.

Thanks Preston. It Is unconventional in that it is neither rhymed nor iambic.

Bravo. One of the best poems on the beauty of diversity that I've ever read. Your analogy to a puzzle is right on target. Yes, seemingly the same, but with different, important, details. And we all FIT togheter to make a world picture. :)
