I suffer with also in both ears. There Is no cure but keeping the ear wax to a halt. Helps some.
Enjoyed your poem and yep it is something else I wish would go away.

Stay above it with other noises. Most of us old vets have it and have learn to live with turning it off. It's hard at first but you can do it.
