Penitence is a big treasure few are lucky to find. I love this poem. You seemed to be writing from deep down your soul.
The entire poem reminds me of Psalm 51. I guess that's why the Holy Bibles remains the book of books.

I love your 7th stanza. Seems pivotal.

I don't know as I am new to the sight. I did feel bad about the three stars. I think if you talk to a review person it can be corrected. I have submitted seven poems and this is the only bad review that I have recieved.
